๐ŸŒณ Moral Story 11: The Secret Flower

SCC1970`s Moral English Stories|

Sam was a young boy who loved to run. One sunny day, he went for a walk in the woods with his grandmother. Sam ran very fast. He wanted to get to the end of the path quickly.

"Come on, Grandma! You are too slow!" Sam shouted.

Grandmother smiled and walked slowly with her wooden stick. She looked at every tree and every leaf. Suddenly, she stopped. She pointed her stick at a pile of brown leaves.

Sam ran back to her. "What is it?" he asked.

Grandmother moved the leaves. Underneath was a tiny, glowing blue flower. It was the most beautiful flower in the forest. Sam had missed it because he was running too fast.

"If you run too fast, you miss the best things," Grandmother said softly. Sam held her hand and walked slowly for the rest of the day. He did not want to miss anything else.

Moral: Take your time. If you hurry too much, you might miss beautiful things.
